- This is a type of Majun. It was introduced by the Hakim in Mogul period.
- There is no description of this compound in Arabic or Greek period.
- A reason to call it Khameera is that after some day of its preparation fermentation gets started.
- In this preparation herbal drugs are used generally in form of Joshanda (Decoction), Khesanda (Infusion) and Luab (Mucilage).
- In the Joshanda (Decoction), Khesanda (Infusion) or Luab (Mucilage) sugar or honey is mixed and triturated, so much air is mixed with it and becomes white.
